I cannot ever plan anything in advance with a kid like Jack.
I literally decided Tuesday to go on vacation….today.
I have forty-eleven-hundred things crammed in to the back of my car, two screaming kids, my own personal pharmacy, enough Lysol to kill a small country, and a husband who is complaining about not knowing why the world I would do this.
I want a piece of normalcy.
Yet, I can’t have that.
So instead, I am going to give my kids a try at a fun weekend. With all that’s been going on in our world the past month (or should I say 4 years…), I think we need some fun. Or adventure. Or both.
