Love is… cuddling on the couch watching Wall-E for the 37,000th time.
Love is… helping to clean without being asked.
Love is… the joy of a milestone reached.
Love is… take- out Chinese on really rough days.
Love is…getting up at 2 AM to help change the bed (or give a bath to the child swimming in tube feed).
Love is… whispers around the fire after the children are asleep.
Love is…knowing the social security numbers of the entire family by heart.
Love is…patient and kind and good.
Love is…a blessing.

Love is… standing your ground in the ER because you know the vomiting/upset stomach that is has been around on and off for the past three weeks is linked to the bigger picture.
Love is ..watching that sweet boy sleep soundly because finally he has sufficent fluid in his system. ( We avoided the IV this time and so far) But his vomiting spells are becoming more frequent and i am twitchy.

Love is…Daddy doing the dishes while Mommy’s out buying the groceries; and Mommy taking out the garbage while Daddy is working hard to keep us afloat. Love is…waking up to a bed full of children who just can’t get enough of us, and dropping into bed exhausted from another day of pouring into them every ounce that I can give.
Yeppers….funny how that has changed since I was a young girl dreaming of a white horse and Prince Charming! I didn’t know Prince Charming was so good at using a plunger or helping with laundry!
