Welcome to Magic Marker Monday! If you haven’t heard about Magic Marker Monday yet, click here and then hurry right back…

It’s not often that my 6-year-old wants to sit down and draw a picture with crayons.
In fact, I had recently bought some Crayola Slick Stix (see video below) to entice him into some coloring activities:
So it was a lovely surprise when he decided to color all on his own the other day. And even more of a surprise when he delightedly showed off his creation to me.
A tree with an abstract little blue bird.
And a new found interest in coloring… out of the blue.
Disclosure: No incentive or product was provided by Crayola for this post. Crayola Slick Stix are a fun and imaginative product that I purchased on my own and chose to share with you because of a personal positive experience with them.

Can’t wait to see the creativity for this week!

Love those slick sticks! Sorry, no photo, but my artist LOVED painting on our sliding glass doors with home-made window paint. One part regular tempura paint and one part dishwasher soap. He loved it and painted his first piece of art that he ever named. A lovely “monkey” now graces our slider.
Very nice! We have a tree to share this week as well.
Wonderful creativity this week!
