Magic Marker Monday — Antidote to a Teaparty…

It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.”

Sometimes, a child (like my 6-year-old son), isn’t too keen on “arts and crafts” as an expression of creativity.

Which doesn’t mean that they aren’t artistic or creative.

All it really means is that they see things differently.

Which, by definition, is creative.

One of my favorite forms of my 6-year-old’s creativity is in his playtime.

You never know what you’ll find when you walk into that kid’s room.

Today, it was a bug party.

Mostly hosted in rebuttal to his sister’s insistent demands that they play “tea party” this afternoon, but a party nonetheless.

I’d love to see what sort of creativity happens around your house…
