Book Recommendations: from parents of children on the spectrum

I asked fans of the REGULAR GUY facebook fan page to tell me which books have helped them along the way.

I have a top ten list of my own and will post it next week.

Will you do me a favor? Tell me which books have helped you along the way. They don’t have to be books about autism, or even books about parenting a child with a disability.

One of my favorite new books is This Lovely Life.

The book was written by Vicki Forman, an AMAZING writer and the winner of the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference Bakeless Nonfiction Prize. (that is a big deal.)

On a light note, I thought you might like to know how the RISPERADONE situation is going. When we left off, Matthew switched to this new medication with great results. He is more interactive and even tempered AND ears everything that isn’t nailed down.

But guess what? I don’t think he has gained a single pound.

Life is not fair.
