There is a lot of talk about those who are on the Autistic Spectrum and their lack of empathy. While the ability to express oneself and feel appropriate feelings at the right time are sometimes lacking; the reality is that those on the Spectrum feel, and feel deeply. My son is sometimes capable of empathy and insight that is way beyond his years. His ability to capture a moment, and at just the right time say or do the right thing for that moment can absolutely take your breath away.
