Mothers, don’t let you babies grow up to be doctors.

Every doctor has an opinion.

A strong one.

The cardiologist disagrees with the respiratory doctor.

The pulmonologist can’t see why the endochrinologist is medicating with that medicine.

The endo argues with the infectious diseases doctor who can’t see the ENT doctor’s point of view.

The ENT doc’s ideas are different again from the immunologist’s

and they all disagree with anything and everything that the paediatrician tries.

So, who do we trust?

When all of these medical professionals put forward their vast array of opinions and are very quick to put another doctor’s choice down,

who do we listen to?

Why can’t doctors work together instead of fighting and bickering like the children they look after?

I’m not sure but somedays I wish I could put them ALL in time out until every single one could reach a compromise.

Maybe then we could make some headway.

Doctors.

Who’d have them?
