From The Files of WTH?!?

Imagine this:

You are the mother of a son with special needs. In this case Down syndrome, but it could have been anything really.

Your son has become enraged, cut his hand and is stomping around the house.

You need help. So you call 911 and ask for help.

But, you tell the 911 operator, DO NOT use a Taser on my son because he suffers from a delicate heart condition.

But when the officer arrives a stun gun IS used, prompting you and your other son to frantically try to pull off the electrified prongs from your 25 year old son with Down syndrome, while begging the officer not to use their weapon again.

Your son with Ds winds up spending two weeks in the hospital as doctors monitor his heart to ensure that no damage had been sustained. He’s fine and back at home. However he now refuses to sleep because of this incident.

You, however?

Well, YOU’VE been charged with resisting arrest without violence. A first-degree misdemeanor punishable byup to 364 days in jail.

Seems as though the police officer felt that you refused to obey commands and “continued to obstruct and resist efforts for this officer to perform their lawful duties.”

WTH?

I repeat.

WTH?

You can’t make stuff like this up. And here’s the proof: West Kendall mom faces trial after cops use Taser on son with weak heart. (If this link doesn’t work just use the search engine on the site to find the article.)

Am I the only one who can’t wait to read about Ana V. Ramierz suing the socks off of this West Kendall cop? The one that could have KILLED her kid with that Taser after she had specifically cautioned them NOT to use a Taser?

Go read the article, then come back and tell me what YOU think. It’s okay if you disagree with me. I’m a big girl. I can take it.

Just don’t ever come after Parker with a Taser and we’ll be good.
