Last week when I was cleaning up our house before a friend came over, I realized I wasn’t going to have time to vacuum the living room and still finish the other things that had to be done.
My son likes to help me when I vacuum, but he can’t manage the heavy machine by himself. And, as many of you probably have experienced, it actually takes longer when he helps. 🙂
Suddenly an idea popped into my head. I grabbed the Dust Buster from the kitchen and handed it to Michael, asking him if he would like to use it to help vacuum the living room for me. He took it happily and set to work. I went upstairs for a few minutes and came back down to find a beaming Michael waiting to show off his work. And he proudly told me, “I did the kitchen too!”
